OUR SUNDAY WAS AWESOME!!
When they started singing "Shout To The Lord" in their native tongue and we were singing in our native tongue--it was a glimpse of what it will be like one day to all sing together, knowing "He" understands it all!! It was an inspiring moment!!

Christina and Aubrey had their faces painted!! Maureen and Candace were in the Watermelon Eating Contest!! I think Maureen came in 2nd place!! Russ and Mike listening to the band and waiting for ice cream!! I think Maureen wanted to take the flowers home!! The fireworks were great!!
JULY 4TH WAS A BLAST!!
The U.S. Embassy Held a July 4th Celebration with BBQ'd hot dogs, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew. There was also face painting, crafts for the kids and foot massages. The decorations were wonderful , we sang the "National Anthem" and "I'm Proud to be an American"and the fireworks were short, but sweet!! Then we came to our house for dessert!! It was too fun!!

We got around town in the back of a truck called a Songtheew (which means two seats).
Some Highlights from the Team's Visit
We went to the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center for a Dinner Show. We saw performers from different hilltribes in Northern Thailand. We sat on the floor and ate dinner "family style".7/21/07

THE TEAM HAS ARRIVED!!
The CRCC Team arrived on June 27th, Wednesday Morning!!
We've been touring the city, learning Thai culture and Thai language, and visited an orphanage!! We'll be adding more updates in the next few days!!
On Monday, we are going up to the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Burma and Laos meet. ( The sign says "Welcome CRCC Team" in Thai)
