Cute and not so cute

Cute: Aubrey's puppy Sadie.
(She likes to read).

Not so cute:

Guess what I found last night, taking out the trash.

Meet "Gary" - the gecko.

Here in Thailand, you have one of two choices; live with the bugs in your home, or allow the geckos (usually 4 or 5) to reside with you. (they eat the bugs... and then poop on the wall.)
FYI - the verdict is still out in our home. It's 3 to 1 currently.
Guess who voted "for" Gary.

Today, on the way to the store, we stopped to report a "breaking and entering" suspect... just down the street from our house.

Rainy days & Mondays, Tue, Wed, Thurs ...

Ok, Monsoon season has officially begun.

7 days straight now, 80 % of the day = hard rain.

Syd had to get creative about where to dry the clothes.

A better solution is forthcoming... with Mr. McGyver (Russ).

"Let my people Know"...

From "Persecution... to Blessing"

The persecution...
Last night we got a first hand experience of ...well, at least two of the plagues of Egypt.
First came the "May Flies" ( You should have seen the girls swatt'n flies, while I was outside closing the windows )

Then came the Frogs... ok, one frog.

The Blessing...

Then, the next day at church, we were blessed to meet a visiting group of believers from N. India who sang "I have decided to follow Jesus"

But what made the event even more significant, was the testimony they gave about their Tribe who were - a couple generations ago - known for their head-hunting practices... and were considered "unreachable"... until a man from their Tribe accepted the Gospel message from a caring person who believed that EVERY Tribe meant EVERY Tribe. The rest is history. Note : they sang "I have decided... in their own tongue. WOW ! What a blessing !
Bring on the Flies !! - Russ.

"MUNK"-n Doughnuts

This one's for you Dan-o.
I couldn't resist when I saw this today.
I thought of you (how you like Dunkin Doughnuts),
then who was in line made the shot even better.
Russ :)
